I am not the kind of person that has a lot of dreams, much less recurrent dreams. The only type of dream that seems to repeat itself for me is a kind of dream world that feels like a city made out of liminal spaces. The first one seemed to be a shopping mall, but it had impossibly wide hallways, and what felt like dozens of escalators and stairs in a row to take you to the next level. It had warm lighting, the walls were made of wood, the floor was spotless, the lighting reminds me of in the bar scene in The Shining.
The other dream I had was a train station platform. However, this train station platform was ridiculously high up in the air, it felt like something out of the Jetsons. It was a big, oval-shaped platform and the trains looked cool riding along the oval shape. Very cool, fancy, bullet type-looking trains. I actually went deeper on the dream and there seemed to be more people inside public transport than outside. Weird.
The other one I was outside a very tall but very narrow building. Skinny like the New York Central Park building. I am talking like a 14 story building but I assume every floor would just be a single different room. There’s an elevator that feels like it took a lot of precious square foot space out of the building and just a single desk with a receptionist next to the elevator. There were some benches and greenery outside. The whole city felt empty, for the most part.
